Expert Says Mango Leaves Can Help Treat Diabetes

Diabetes is a condition that affects many people around the world. This happens when your body is not able to use properly the insulin present in the body or your pancreas stop producing insulin. The leaves also contain a compound known as 3beta-taraxenol and ethyl acetate extract, which synergise with insulin to stimulate the synthesis of glycogen and activate GLUT4.
Also, it helps in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy and diabetic angiopathy. Mango tea leaves are very effective for this purpose.

How to Use Mango Leaves for Diabetes Treatment?

Direction 1:
1. Boil 5-10 mango leaves using a small pot of water.
2. After boiling, let the leaves sit in the water overnight. This is to maximize the amount of mango extract left in the water.
3. Strain the leaves.
4. Drink the solution first thing in the morning.
Note:
Drinking the solution on an an empty stomach will ensure that you will absorb as much of the mango leave’s diabetes-fighting nutrients.
Direction 2:
1. You can also dry the leaves in a dark place and ground them.
2. Then use 1/2 teaspoon of this powdered mango leaves twice a day.
